Sukshma Vyayama


Today, I am sharing about sukshma vyayama which is very light form of exercise which can be performed by people of any age group. It is crucial that it is practiced every morning because the function of muscles and internal organs are slow when we wake up.

Sukshma Vyayama is the system of yogic practices which loosens your joints and removes the energy blockages. This system has a strong purifying effect thus, boosting the body energy. Yogic Sukshma Vyayamas (Loosening and strengthening practices) are safe, rhythmic, repetitive stretching movements

They improve circulation, remove stiffness and tension, relieve the nervous system and can be done by anyone. These are also a good way to warm-up before our yoga practice. After every two or three movements, sit quietly with your eyes closed. It is preferable to keep your eyes closed while doing this yoga and also do all this exercises gently and slowly. It is also preferable to do shavasana after doing sukshma vyayamas.

Benefits of Sukshma Vyayama:

·      It massages some important organs of the immune system.

·      It brings warmth in the body.

·      It works in each body part and eventually increases blood and lymph circulation.

·      It increases our immunity and it also increases the production of cells to kill any kind of infection.

·      Toxins and wastes are easily removed from the body.

·      It loosens our tight joints.

·      We will become very energetic because it removes energy blockages.

·      It relaxes nervous system and it helps to reduce the weight also.

·      The important thing in this is it can be done by anyone of any age.

·     It will help those who are suffering from high blood pressure, heart problems, or other ailments where vigorous exercise is not advised.

·     It is beneficial for those suffering from Rheumatism arthritis
